MEDICATE VIDEO : MY (SHORT) REVIEW

Ok ladies and getlemen, the moment we were all waiting for is already here... A NEW AFI VIDEO, for the song MEDICATE. Not only the song is a MASTERPIECE, but also the video!.

Personally I love black & white shoots , so this video to me is just perfect.Involves a story and you can also see the band playing.To me those elements are basics to consider a video like a GOOD video.

Congrats to the AFI guys for this!.

Ok I know this record is one year old, but I have listened to it very often these days and I think it is GREAT, and I recommend EVERYONE to buy it and listen to it...

Harry Potter and the half blood prince

Ok dear friends...I CAN`T WAIT too watch this movie.I have been a HP fan since 2001 and I have read the 7 books and number 6 IS MY FAVORITE, so I have huge expectations for this film.

WHY I LOVE THIS BOOK IN PARTICULAR? cause I am a big fan of SLYTHERIN and J.K ROWLING really did a good job trying to get the reader into Slytherin traditions, and trying to make us understand more about this House of Hogwarts, and specially into LORD VOLDEMORT`S live, so I found this pretty interesting.

Well...I hope u enjoy the movie as well...and sorry about the short journal, but I wanted to say that.

P.S: I was watching the 4th film and I thought "LORD VOLDEMORT HAS TO SWITCH MOVIES FOR A WHILE AND KILL ROBERT PATTINSON IN TWILIGHT AS WELL SO ALL THIS "THING" ENDS AS IT STARTED: WITHOUT ANY GLORY OR VALID ARGUMENTS ABOUT TRADITIONAL VAMPIRES"...but that`s a topic for another jounal haha...thanks for reading, and TWILIGHT lovers , I am sorry u should read BRAM STOKER and ANNE RICE to understand my point.

Within Temptation

Within Temptation is a Duch band formed in 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt, when they were still attending college.Said by Sharon herself they do not consider themselves as gothic but as a “symphonic rock/metal “ band.

Within Temptation released their debut album “Enter” through Dutch indie label DSFA IN APRIL, 1996.They made several concerts all over the European continet between 1996 and 1997, cementing them as a band with phenomenal live apparences.

In 1999 the members returned to college to finished their studies.Returing Twelve months later, 2000 was the most relevant year for the band, cause besides start touring again, they went to work on their second album, releasing “Mother Earth” in the Low Countries on December 1, staying on the Dutch charts for over three months, being their single “Ice Queen” that finally led them first mainstream commercial success.

2001 also saw a number of changes in personnel; Ruud Adrianus Jolie was added as a second guitarist, drummer de Graaf was replaced by Stephen van Haestregt, and Martijn Westerholt was replaced by Martijn Spierenburg.

In 2004 they returned to the studios to work on their third álbum, “The silent Force” , with producer Daniel Gibson, having their singles “Stand my ground”, “Memories” and “Angels” on the charts successfully again.

In 2007 relased their fourth álbum, “The Heart of Eveything”. The song "What Have You Done" was the first single released from the album, featuring guest vocals from ‘Life Of Agony’ front man Keith Caputo. The second single, released across Europe in June, was "Frozen" ( the sales of the single was to raise money for a children's charity, Child Helpline International), and the third and fourth singles were “All I need”, and “The Howling”

On February 7th 2008 the band gave a special concert with the Metropole Orchestra in Ahoy Rotterdam. Together with the PA'dam choir, guest singers, the Black Symphony' concert was a great success.They expect to release a new álbum in 2009/2010.

Maybe most of you don`t know about Venezuelan political situation these days, and I can`t blame you.

We`ve got elections in 2007 to decide if Chavez could change the constitution, we obviously won and he couldn`t do his will (thank god) , but NOW , he invented a new way to try to screw us all , so next february 15 we got NEW ELECTIONS and this time is to decide if this HORRIBLE MAN, THIS DICTATOR, THIS DEMON stays in the GOVERMENT FOREVER!!...

So with this journal I want to let you know (to those who doesn`t have a clue) we are living in HELL, our education, our hospitals, our security, EVERYTHING is just PATHETIC.This man has 10 years doing just NOTHINGâ�¦wellâ�¦WAIT..he is doing something HE IS GIVING OUR OIL AND OUR MONEY TO OTHER COUNTRIES AND SPECIALLY TO FIDEL CASTRO.

And NEXT FEBRUARY 15 we are going to say NO!! NO TO THIS BAD ECONOMY, NO TO HIS PATHETIC GOVERMENT AND NO TO HIS PERVERT IDEAS!!...
